On Thursday, February 28th at 1pm PST, the Los Angeles indie electro band, Capital Cities, will kick off the month with an electrifying performance at the Red Bull Sound Space at KROQ.   Approximately 150 local fans will get to watch the performance from within the intimate space and many more worldwide will be watching the live stream online at www.kroq.com/redbullsoundspace.

The band will give their fans a treat as they perform new material, as well as their hit single "Safe and Sound", which is #8 on the KROQ playlist.  If you're interested, we'd love to invite you out to cover the show.

Please let us know if you'd like to request an interview with the band, upon approval. Thanks!

About Red Bull Sound Space

What was once an office space packed with hum-drum cubicles is now home to a stage evoking the spirit of underground rock and roll.  KROQ listener donations of old audio equipment such as '40s-era radios, record players and blinged-out boomboxes were crafted into a piece of artwork that adorns the stage.  Since its launch in October 2011, the space has hosted Coldplay, The Black Keys, Bad Religion, The Fray, Of Monsters and Men, Keane, FUN, Falling in Reverse, Angels & Airwaves, Pennywise, Silversun Pickups, Neon Trees, Imagine Dragons, Metric, Serj Tankian, M83, Passion Pit, Grouplove, Slightly Stoopid (KROQ), as well as Maroon 5, Flo Rida & Nelly Furtado (AMP).
