Do you live to shop or live to eat? Those who answer "yes" rather than choosing one or the other giddily flock to one-stop emporiums of gastronomy and purchasing.—Lonny Pugh

Beverly Hills and Beyond

Rich celebs are a breezy, glowing breed unto themselves. Shopping and eating like them can go to a person's head. It can also lead to some good spottings. It can also lead to some scary phone calls from credit-card companies.

1.

Crescendo at Fred Segal

The airy patio is a popular "Ohmygawd, I haven't seen you in for-EV-er" spot to see and be seen; those not eating puff away on cigarettes to reduce their hunger.

2.

Barney Greengrass

This is a stylish place for women so stressed after an agonizing bit of shoe shopping that they'll actually admit to being hungry.

3.

Bar on 4 at Neiman Marcus

Hungry for food? How about a husband? The bar is situated in the men's section.

4.

SnAKS at Saks

This fifth-floor cafe in the east building was recently redone. Insert 90210-related face-lift joke here.

5.

Susina Bakery & Cafe

Coffee for now, sweets for later. Tea for now, tea for later...

6.

Morels

This bistro would almost seem authentic were it not in the middle of the mobbed outdoor mall The Grove.

7.

Whisper Lounge

Another Grove option, this one involves steaks and martinis.

8.

Cafe Midi at American Rag Maison

Connected to American Rag, this kitschy cafe has plates on the tables and plates for sale on the walls.

9.

Casbah Cafe

We can never decide if this is a store with a cafe or a cafe with a store

10.

Cube

The walls of this pleasant, pocket-sized room are lined with intriguing oils, cheeses and more.

11.

Farmers Market

This is the best one-stop place around for pastries, tacos, kumquats, pecans, smoothies, kebabs, ice-cream cones, postcards, jambalaya, pancakes, wine and hot sauce.

You have to have the French Crepes at the Farmers Market!!To die for!All of the food is great and it is just a fun place to sit, eat, relax and do some shopping afterwards!...Have Fun!
