There's something going on every night of the week at Club Ripples, a two-level stop with lots of room for same-sex shenanigans by the beach.

Ripples would feel right at home tucked into the Boystown strip on Santa Monica Boulevard, but it's a bit further south—on an otherwise quiet patch of beachside road in Long Beach, a town with its own thriving gay scene (and lots of college kids). Sunday's popular beer bust offers a barbecue on the patio and a plethora of $1 beers (just don't lose your cup); Monday Madness unloads $4 margaritas, mai tais and martinis; Tuesday is industry night (as in the service industry); Wednesday's "Flesh" ups the raciness; Thursday brings fake girls in the DreamGirls Revue; Friday brings real girls who like other girls; Saturday alternates between several once-a-month parties catering to various types from hairless to hairy.
