With only a neon red "Cocktails" sign out front to beckon you in, this unassuming club lures in aspiring actors, junior Industry types, boho babes and clubbers dressed in their Friday-night best. Strangely, it’s devoid of any attitude.

Jimmy's Lounge isn't about seeing and being seen—it’s too dark inside. Jimmy's is about well-mixed libations, cozy corner booths, and a spacious back patio. Super-friendly owner Jimmy LaBrie invites different promoters each night of the week to host events like "School Girl Night," "Hangover Sundays" and "Comedy Karaoke." LA.com even co-hosted a Halloween costume party here. The space hasn’t changed much since its El Centro days—the sauna-like wood paneling is still shiny, there are still mirrors around the dance floor, and the tables where Paris Hilton once danced are still intact.
