Cheap drinks + scantily clad barboys = WeHo success.

In the space formerly (and briefly) known as Dude's, the Fiesta Cantina is doing what Dude's could not—pack gay boys into the bar area, the front patio looking onto Santa Monica Boulevard and the rooftop lounge. The success, really, comes down to its seemingly perpetual happy hour, where the margaritas (or any other drink) are priced two-for-one—and mixed strongly enough to send patrons stumbling blissfully out into the night (or mid-afternoon sun) with crossed eyes and a crooked smile. The crowd, before they're blitzed beyond recognition, is cute and ultracasual: Anything fancier than a T-shirt and jeans would be a rarity. Those who choose to sober up consult the standard food menu's adequate staples like tacos and nachos, which come in a huge pile roughly the size of a bartender's beefy glute.—Lonny Pugh
