Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, contemporary Californian cuisine like mac and cheese, fried calamari or pan-roasted halibut is served to those who never understood why "dinner and a movie" had to mean two separate trips. On the big screen, films range from the new must-sees to the classics to the fun flicks that never get old. (And yes, all you cheapskates, the movie comes free with dinner.) Those who've seen the movie escape for a meal on the patio overlooking Hollywood. Most dinner-and-a-movie seatings start at 7:30pm, and the DJ party starts around 10pm, when Cinespace becomes a hot nightlife scene. —Lesley Balla
