    Though this funky spot is far from a West Hollywood blowout, its off-the-SUV-path location and loyal crowd have made this lesbian club a perennial favorite for those who dare to brave its somewhat sketchy 'hood.Home to Madonna's Music album launch party in 2000, Jewel's Catch One is a favorite of strong urban women. Upstairs, the Catch heats things up with a mix of house, hip-hop and salsa; exotic dancers and 18-plus chicas take over the downstairs in Jewel's Room. On Sundays, Madge aspirants can get their moment in the spotlight during karaoke before a crowd of appreciative ladies who aren't distracted by thoughts of the buff studs that often populate her videos.
