Martini LoungeDodger Stadium's exclusive bar at the Dugout Club ![]() Baseball may be America's pastime, but trendiness is the official sport of Los Angeles, which is why LA fans with dough can now channel their inner James Bond at Dodger Stadium's bar, located inside the exclusive Dugout Club. The Martini Lounge quietly opened in 2005, featuring a variety of (go figure!) baseball-themed drinks, including their most popular, the appropriately azure Dodger Blue, and the Brooklyn Dodger apple martini. Doing their best to recreate the atmosphere of a hipster hangout are three sets of black sectional couches, six tables surrounded by low, semi-retro leather chairs, and five high tables with blue leather stools—no easy feat in the bowels of a baseball stadium. The catch: Access to the blue-hued Dugout Club, for which Martini Lounge serves as a sort of VIP room, costs $400. Dodger Dogs are available, but the high cost of access demands indulging in the constantly changing menu of stir fries, risottos, roasted meats, salads, desserts and a sundae bar. Fans can arrive two hours before the first pitch, and it's not uncommon to see celebs and players (Eric Gagne and Derek Lowe are frequent visitors) hang out after the game. Single-game tickets are available, and like any club around town, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays are king. Opponents matter, too. If you want to rub elbows with all the cool kids, it's best to pick a night when the Giants are in town. —Brian Kamenetzky
