This hot-and-bothered Hollywood club wasn't named after a type of carpet, if you know what we mean.

Remember Concorde, the club where Nick Carter allegedly gave Paris Hilton bruised arms and a fat lip? Well, consider those (alleged!) bad vibes gone. Shereen Arazm, who also owns Bella and Geisha House, transformed Concorde into Shag, a plush playpen. There are crystal chandeliers, red velvet curtains, zebra-print pillows, pink-tinted mirrors and couches upholstered in white and beige Missoni fabric. Those who regard the club's name as a verb that must come later are assisted by the layout. The dance floor is small enough that there's often no choice but to rub up against supermodel lookalikes; the intimate nooks and cozy couches in the two smoking lounges are quiet enough to hear all double entendres.—Alexandra Le Tellier
