Busby's Santa MonicaA bar that's many things to many people
    This Westside sports bar and lounge has multiple personalities—and that's a good thing.It seems like a contradiction in terms, but Busby's is an upscale sports bar. Each of the separate rooms have a den-like vibe with fireplaces and leather furniture. It serves gourmet food. And there's imported beer on the menu. During happy hour, Busby's fills with local businesspeople who vie for half-price appetizers and discounted well drinks. After 9pm, post-grads, PAs and surfers file in to watch sports on 25 flat-screen TVs or dance to hip-hop and house. Antsy sporty types also play foosball, ping pong, pool and backgammon. But in atypical sports-bar fashion, the staff—though sexy as hell—keep their cleavage out of patrons' faces. —Virginia Melin
