Take a deep breath before you enter this dirty gay den.

Once inside, don't be surprised to find a midget dressed as a leprechaun dispensing Jell-O shots from atop the bar, or patrons stripping on top of the pool table, or oddball porn (sometimes involving puppets or cartoon characters) on the TVs, or an alt-looking guy doing a killer Tina Turner ("Rollin'! Rollin'!") on the karaoke mic, or drunk boys dropping trou for a free shot from the bartender, or...well, suffice it to say Fubar is not the gay bar to which mom should tag along. Or straight friends. Or impressionable, newly out friends. Or the more domesticated gays. The vibe and crowd can vary wildly from night to night—sometimes it's just a mellow place to shoot a game of pool—so call ahead or check the website for themes. With nights like "Big Fat Dick," what more needs to be said about Fubar?—Lonny Pugh
