Voda, which means water in Russian, is a vital part of the Santa Monica nightlife scene. But champagne and vodka are the draw here, not water. The decor is subdued, almost mystical, with stone walls, brown carpets and candles everywhere. Though many pop in for drinks and snacks, the menu contains pleasing items for full meals, including designer pizzas, fresh oysters, ahi tuna tartare and a hearty New York steak in a mushroom reduction served with french fries.
