Though designed to look like a modern Moroccan disco, the Spider Club, says part-owner Steve Adelman, aims to bring back "the intimate experience of nightlife people enjoyed in the the golden age of Hollywood."

That's a tall order to fill when assorted Hiltons have skanked up the dance floor, but the chic space does include a large, welcoming patio and two intimate lounges, one of which has a small dance floor (and stripper pole). The club serves a French bistro menu and, with the help of a concierge database, the impeccably dressed staff never forget a customer's favorite dish or preferred table—at least they're not supposed to. Though celeb favor appears to have waned in the face of all the next big things, it seems there's always some kind of celebration or event to bring them back. —Alexandra Le Tellier
