Busby's Hollywood has a bit of a Superman complex. By most weekdays it's a mild-mannered sports bar fit with 45 HD-TVs and a plentiful menu of heart-clogging fare. But on nights falling between Thursday and Saturday, it transforms itself into a super-powered all-in-one mega-club.

The dichotomy of such a place is palpable. Sports fans looking to get a quick Peroni on tap while watching the last quarter of the Lakers game can find themselves at odds with the emerging crowd of gussied up, ready-to-shake-their-booty peeps. The luxury of this type of establishment is that most major sporting events are done by the time the booty shakers come to strut their stuff. Much like the Busby's Santa Monica location, there's a game room filled with pool tables, table-top shuffleboard, and backgammon—that along with a healthy pour at the main bar keep the fans in their seats well after the final whistle has been blown. There's also the "Mile High Room," where beautifully under-clad women can dance and titillate onlookers. It's a win-win situation for all involved.— Pierluigi Cothran
