When Frankie Delgado moved to LA two years ago, he hadn’t planned on a career in nightlife. But we guess when you grow up in Tijuana, Mexico, partying becomes second nature. He’s now an exclusive event planner for SBE, which owns Area, Privilege, Hyde Lounge and Lobby Supper Club, and has the enviable task of luring all the pretty girls to the clubs. MTV recently made Delgado and his group of friends the subject of the “Entourage”-style reality show “Twentyfourseven,” and though ratings didn’t sore, buzz about this stylish girl-magnet did. —Alexandra Le Tellier

1.

It’s your job to lure the pretty girls to the clubs. What’s the best place to network with a good-looking crowd?

I call my friend Jean Paul because he knows all the models. Ha! I also always go to the trendiest lunch venues like Toast.

3.

What’s your favorite lunch spot and what do you like to order?

Mauro’s Restaurant at Fred Segal by far. They make the best pollo al dorato, which I add the lemon butter sauce to. They also have amazing strawberry lemonades.

4.

Where’s the best place to take a girl on a first date?

Pace. It’s Italian. It’s quiet and romantic and not scene-y.

5.

If you had to pick a favorite SBE venue, what would it be and why?

Area. It’s such a classy non-played-out club.

6.

If this were your last day in LA, how would you spend it?

I would go to Katsuya in Brentwood with all my friends and have the watermelon mojitos. They are amazing.

hey frankie great work on making Sbar mondays such a success!!!! its not easy for just anyone to fill a 65 person venue!! o wait...sorry that only lasted 2 months huh.....

Hey man, congrats on a career of leaching off half-assed reality shows!! What the hell do you actually do? (besides pretending to look important on your cell phone?)
