After conceptualizing a nightlife destination reminiscent of the sultry, hard-partying birthplace of trance music – Goa, India – Adolfo Suaya and Michael Sutton (The Lodge, Charcoal) enlisted designer, Kristopher Keith to class up the Cahuenga Corridor and transform their raw space into a 6,500 square foot mega-club.

The oval-shaped entry room is the most visually impressive from top to bottom.  With its gorgeous marble bar, mosaic-tiled floor, Persian rug-covered walls, and low benches flanked with embroidered pillows - pretty partygoers feel like they're ordering their cosmos at a bar inside a genie bottle.  Don't let the ceiling bling blind you – over 8 miles of imported gold chain links hang from the ceiling above the oval marble bar.  Stairs lead up to the 15-seat sushi bar helmed by Yu-N-Mi Sushi owner Ted Fujita.  Why sushi in an Indian-themed bar?  The bi-cultural nightclub fusion allows modelites to eat without filling up their teeny-tiny tummys and it's easy to double-fist with a martini in one hand and a spicy tuna roll in the other.

The only thing square about Goa is the shape of the room.  As a unique design element, designer Keith avoided using anything square-shaped and used only oval- and hexagon-shaped pieces to furnish and design the indoor space as well as the outdoor patio.  No squares allowed at Goa, literally.

The DJ booth on the second floor overlooks the main room where white floral designs are stenciled onto the dark wood dancefloor and are illuminated with black lights.  Hollywood super-promoters, The Alliance, run Thursday nights with their resident DJ, the notorious celebusibling, Samantha Ronson.  Saturdays are run by co-owner Sutton and include an aerialist show above the dancefloor.  As Hollywood's newest destination hotspot, less-than-A-listers should keep their pretty little polished fingers crossed when trying for a visit.  Good luck!
