Seven in West Hollywood is a glaring example of Santa Monica Boulevard's recent nightlife transition into the next Cahuenga Corridor, with dark intimate drinking dens such as Bar Lubitsch and Winston's a vodka martini's throw away.

Seven occupies the former iCandy Lounge, a designer boys-who-like-boys cocktail drinkery that had its fifteen minutes of fame as a reality-show star on Logo. New owner Noah Silverman, though, has subtly transformed this bungalow boite into a bottle-service canteen catering to hetero twentysomethings who favor baby-doll dresses and fedoras. Seven has an indoor-outdoor layout with pebble walls and cozy banquettes that surround the petite dance floor—a bamboo-like divider separates boogie-down revelers from the calmer patio area and its cooling fountain wall. The skinny jeans crowd heads to Seven on Saturday nights for Anthem magazine and Kin Boutique's weekly soiree featuring guest spinsters Pube$, C-Town, Richie Rich and Steve Aoki (his fashion-puss Devon also drops by). Along with themed nights, Silverman plans to revamp Seven's kitchen to add a tapas menu to complement its puree-accented drinks and elixirs. —Max Padilla
