Sunday Night Clubs

Sunday = Funday. And that means the weekend's partying is nowhere near over. Tap the free keg at LAX or get immortalized by Shadowscene at Play - either way, you're doing Funday justice.

Please note: Promoters are sometimes flaky and cancel events at the last minute, or take a week off, or disappear without warning. Clubbers are advised to call the venue before heading out.

1.

Banana Split Sundaes at LAX

Rock star DJs AM and Steve Aoki put a keg on the dance floor and let clubbers drink for free until it’s tapped. They also serve free cupcakes all night. But the ultimate treat for us recently was seeing former lovebirds Lindsay Lohan and Wilmer Valderrama stop by on the same night. Email partyline@dimmak.com to RSVP.

2.

Plus at Play

Brad Hoss' crowds of loyal Hollywood lushes meet Shadowscene's crowd of Hollywood Hipsters

3.

Sudden Death Sundays at Vine

Blu Jemz, Pube$ and Royal Rumble take over Vine for this disco dance night that says NO! to all things lame.

4.

Kid's Cotton Club at Guy's

Danny Masterson (from "That '70s Show") hosts this glamorous and sophisticated jazz night. The night attracts a lot of celebs and some, like Christina Aguilera, have even performed on the spot. Men must show up in a dress shirt and tie and Masterson tells us girls have more fun when they're in a dress.

5.

Icon Sundays at Mood

Party like (and sometimes with) P. Diddy at this hip-hop night that has as much bubbly and bling as an MTV video.

6.

Industry Night at L'Scorpion

LA.com hooks up with this sexy dimly-lit tequila bar on Sunday nights to treat industry folks with half-price drinks all night long. Bring a business card and you get a free shot; order dinner and the bar will throw in a free pitcher (!) of margaritas. Click here to reserve a dinner table in the lounge.

7.

Deep at the Vanguard

Marques Wyatt's long-running party gives cred to the West Coast house scene.

8.

Jamaican Gold at Forbidden City

Catch reggae fever at this Caribbean culture club night where sweat-drenched ragamuffins decked out in yellow and green engage in dirty dancing to a hypnotic blend of roots, dancehall, hip-hop and R&B.

9.

Spazmatics Sundays at Dragonfly

Legwarmers are welcome at this wacky '80s night that features cover band The Spazmatics.

10.

Down the Rabbit Hole at The Bar

What better way to spend the last moments of the weekend than playing board games, drinking mint juleps and perusing the weekly art exhibit as jazz tickles your eardrums?

11.

One Way at Zanzibar

Garth Trinidad from KCRW's "Chocolate City" takes over this Westside hang for an evening of progressive soul, hip-hop and world rhythms.

12.

Club London at Boardner's

This '80s flashback features campy cover bands and guest DJs mixing new wave, synthpop, darkwave, indie and Britpop.

13.

The Come Down at The Cha Cha Lounge

When all your weekend money’s been spent but you still want another damn drink, look no further than the Cha Cha. Bloody Marys made with Stoli are only $2 from 5pm until 2am.

14.

Bingo For Beer at Bigfoot Lodge

DJ Cooter spins and hosts a drunken game of bingo where winners get free beer. Movie geeks can also watch rare 16-millimeter and super 8 films projected by Spencer the Movie Guy.

15.

Part Time Punks at The Echo

Filmmaker Michael Stock and Amoeba vinyl expert Benjamin White spin classics and obscure tunes from the punk, new wave, hardcore, electro and shoegazer scenes. The DJs insist the night's about "aesthetics over attitude, substance over style." Still, metal spikes are welcome.

16.

Beat It at The Ruby

Club kids in turquoise tube tops, mohawks, frosted pink lipstick and old-school Vans rule the scene at Jason Lavitt's 18-plus '80s party. It's fun to reminisce about a time when Michael Jackson and Pee-Wee Herman weren't so creepy.

17.

Count’s Night Out at Bordello

“Count” Veikko Lepisto hosts an acoustic evening of bebop, bossa, lounge and jump for the NuBeat Generation from 8pm to 12am at this brothl-inspired bar.
