Thursday Night Clubs

Get over your hump-day hangover and get out before the weekend warriors take over all the hotspots.

Please note: Promoters are sometimes flaky and cancel events at the last minute, or take a week off, or disappear without warning. Clubbers are advised to call the venue before heading out.

4.

Smack at O-Bar

Gay boys who've fully embraced the blazer trend come to Smack each other around—visually, at least—at this cozy, stylish restaurant/bar. The line may not look long, but it moves slowly: Get there by 9:30 to swish in quickly.

10.

The Root Down at Little Temple

11.

The Good Life at The Bungalow Club

It's like a grassroots house party every fourth Thursday of the month when respected local DJs like Liza Richardson and John Tejada spin rough house beats.

12.

Burlesque Shows at Forty Deuce

Mid-century bump-and-grind stripteases, backed by a three-piece jazz combo, happen every Thursday and Friday.

13.

Thursdays at Cabana Club

Rotating DJs like David Rockwell, Splyce and Mike Palmieri spin hip-hop, glam, ‘80s and house inside this urban oasis reserved for the city’s trendiest clubbers. Email rsvpcabana@karmaentertainment.net to get on the list.

16.

"Blackout" at Aqua Restaurant & Lounge

Eight gorgeous girls—sometimes in little more than short shorts and suspenders—dance their variously sized and shaped behinds off at this late-night burlesque show, grinding anything and everything in sight to amped-up, booty-bumped remixed classics by Queen, Prince and Tina Turner.
