So you're not 21 and you don't make $7 million per picture—still, partying in LA isn't out of the question. Check out these all-ages and 18-and-over venues and club nights for dancing and (nonalcoholic beverage) drinking. —Enid Portuguez

1.

Check Yo Ponytail

DJ Franki Chan's biweekly Saturday night is one of the few 18-plus club nights that bring out just as many over-21 partygoers. Translation: It's hip. $10.

2.

Bang!

Skinny ties and kohl eyeliner are musts at this long-running 18-and-over night where hipsters rock it out to indie electro, new wave and other tunes made before they were born. $5 before 10:30pm.

3.

TigerHeat

The young, fresh-faced and totally gay congregate weekly at Arena, which offers enough space for the 18-plussers to belt out Britney, Christina and Kelly Clarkson.

4.

Club DV8 at Level 3

DJs Drew and ODM from KIIS FM broadcast live from this 18-plus Top 40 dance party every Saturday night. Dress code is pretty strict—no headwear, athletic wear, baggy clothing or plain white T-shirts allowed. $20 for ages 18-20; $15 for 21+.

5.

The Smell

Want a little less strobe light and a little more social consciousness? Try this Downtown all-ages music venue and art gallery, which hosts emerging local artists and community-oriented events.

6.

Safari Sam's

All ages are welcome at this East Hollywood music venue, which serves a rockin' Sunday brunch as well as dinner during show nights.

7.

Troubadour

You don't have to be 21 to watch a show at The Troubadour (it's all ages), but some cover charges—like the one for Free Mondays—may vary for the underage.

8.

The Roxy Theatre

Nirvana, Guns N' Roses and David Bowie have played at this legendary, all-ages Sunset Boulevard venue. If that's too classic, current pop stars Mandy Moore, Phantom Planet and Ryan Cabrera have also set foot on The Roxy's hallowed stage.

9.

Hang the DJs

You never know what you're going to get at this popular Eastside 18-plus dance party, which serves up a tall order of DJs every third Saturday of the month.

10.

Boardner's of Hollywood

In the summer, the 18-plus crowd can actually enjoy Boardner's school-night parties like Blue Mondays and Club Moscow on Wednesdays.

11.

Clockwork Orange at The World

If you're 18 to 20, we have a question: Do you remember the 1980s? If you have a curfew, ask for an extension—this club stays open until 3am.

12.

System at the Knitting Factory

Beginning July 6, the folks behind Bang at the Ruby take over Friday nights at the Knitting Factory where they'll have three rooms playing new wave, Brit rock and soul for the 18-plus crowd.
