The W Los Angeles opens its sleek doors for Vinyl Vixen Thursdays - a set of exclusive showcases featuring high-profile, all-female talent hot enough to drag scenesters out to the Westside with bare minimum scarring.

The Vinyl Vixen series posts in Whiskey Blue's VIP area - ensuring intimate interaction between the celeb DJ’s and rotating lineup of tastemakers from film, fashion and art.  Whiskey Blue is no stranger to celeb faces (recent attendees include Katherine Heigl, Lauren Conrad, Stephen Colletti, and Jesse Spencer), so expect to rub elbows with celebs and Westside cuties on the dancefloor.  An uptempo mix of hip-hop and pop keeps the beautiful faces, suits and hotel guests crowded around the Vinyl Vixen’s dimly lit turntables.  The cabanas that line the lounge also provide some privacy for canoodling couples.    

The uniform is tunic and jeans here – so ditch the party wear for this attempted Eastside on the Westside production.  For the boys: sneakers, vintage tee and black-framed glasses will suffice. The best part of Vinyl Vixens?  People-watching the suits spitting game to wannabe socialites, while snacking on Nine Thirty’s sweet potato fries.
