Owned by the people behind Hollywood’s Magnolia restaurant, Chloe is a fresh addition to the Westside’s mini-artillery of suitable places to meet for drinks.

The perfect coalescence of beautifully designed interior, delish menu and laid-back beach-bum attitude make it, well, ideal for the Westsider who craves Hollywood ambiance but just can’t bear to drive east of the 405 one more night.

Even though the vibe is come-as-you-are, throw on some nice jeans with heels or a sports coat, so you don’t actually look like you just strolled in off the Promenade.  The flocked wallpaper, huge white lacquer mirrors, cozy couches and antique, marble-topped bar infuse the candlelit hideaway with a sort of secret-garden appeal that only word-of-mouth places have.  Nosh on bacon-wrapped, bleu cheese-stuffed dates, crispy artichokes or petite burgers with English cheddar and caramelized onions while enjoying a drink from the fanciful cocktail menu.
