Is it a lounge? A sports bar? A dance club? Nikki’s keeps a diverse crowd coming to dance, watch March Madness, and to partake in their fabulous Happy Hour.

A local watering hole located a few steps from the beach exudes Venice’s eclectic vibe, both in the décor and crowd. The dim-lit venue is furnished with typical beach-side lounge pieces and on the vintage brick wall is a graffiti art piece by local artist Joe X2 reminding us that this is VENICE – and Venice is the place to relax and enjoy the fabulous beach ‘hood of hodgepodge cultures and crews. The crowd ranged from unapologetic frat bros, classy black ties, and beach bum locals. Nikki’s plethora of sports-spouting flat screen TVs could have been the draw for those March Madness followers, but the amazing Happy Hour is, for sure, the main draw. Everyday of the week from 4pm to 7pm, the drinks and yummy appetizers are half price.  Wednesdays offer $4 Absolut Vodka specials and the free pink champagne for the ladies on Thursdays always draws a saucy crowd.  As relaxed as the atmosphere is, Friday and Saturday ushers in quite a crowd, which means a line forms after 10pm.  – Josephine Vu
