Here are four other clubs in the region featuring electronic dance nights and one other that mixes it in. Cover charges vary.

 

MONDAY NIGHT SOCIAL
Nacional, 1645 Wilcox Ave., Hollywood. 10 p.m.-2 a.m. Mondays. www.MySpace.com/mondaysocial. Arguably the longest-running club night in town, the Monday Social packs 'em in with a hassle-free atmosphere, vibes and top sounds. Sample the club's music by tuning into a mix show on the third Sunday of every month on www.protonradio.com, which spotlights DJ mixes recorded there.

SAM'S
6278 S. Pacific Coast Highway, Long Beach. 10 p.m.-2 a.m. Saturdays. (562) 212-1481. www.acropolisrpm.com. Multiple rooms with DJs spinning house, hip-hop, along with live bands (electronic, rock, reggae and hip-hop).

 

GIANT NEWPORT BEACH
Tentation Ultra Lounge, 4647 MacArthur Blvd., Newport Beach. 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Thursdays. www.giantclub.com. Miami DJ Robbie Rivera, who has remixed tracks for everyone from Madonna to Sinead O'Connor, spins tonight.

 

VANGUARD
6021 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood.
9:30 p.m.-4 a.m. Saturdays. (323) 464-7373. Features a large outdoor patio with bar, multilevel seating and a soundtrack for grooving under the stars. Bob Sinclair, whose "Love Generation" was one of the biggest club hits of 2005, spins Saturday.

 

AMBIENTE
45 S. Garfield Ave., Alhambra.
10 p.m.-2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays. (626) 300-5447. DJs spin a bit of everything, with electronica part of the mix.
