This gallery brings international modern and contemporary artists to Santa Monica.

This Santa Monica gallery is good at foreign relations. Christopher Grimes has brought a number of international modern and contemporary artists to LA and also promoted American artists overseas. Brazilian sculptor Waltercio Caldas, California-born video artist Dean Smith and Italian video artist and photographer Marco Brambilla are some of the artists on their roster. And the art work is as diverse as the artists presented who are here. Past exhibitions include a Marxist-inspired photo essay by Los Angeles artist Allan Sekula about the labor and history of international shipping, and an exhibit of salon-style paintings created by the prolific and irreverent dandy of the European artworld, Anton Henning.
