Handcrafted items—baskets, teapots, wood art and ceramics—are Del Mano's specialty.

Since 1973, this gallery has exhibited wooden bowls, ceramic teapots and baskets made of various materials, such as reed, staples and linen. Del Mano's unconventional exhibits include an annual show of teapots, called "Hot Tea!" The teapots on exhibition don't seem to be the most functional examples of kitchenware, but they are works of art—plus we don't know that many tea drinkers who would want to pour from a pot shaped like a naked lady. Besides nudes, the pots take on forms resembling everything from handbags to chocolate-covered donuts. In addition to its yearly teapot showcase, the gallery also puts on an annual exhibition of contemporary woven baskets. Far from being run-of-the-mill gift baskets, the containers that go on exhibit are colorful works of abstract art. Many of the baskets seem to take their inspiration from nature: some look like they could double as sea anemone, while others take on floral forms. Meanwhile, others use natural tones and abstracted forms to create sparse, moderninst shapes. And then there are the ones which throw highbrow design to the wind and are fashioned like bunnies and flamingos.
