If Marina del Rey and Santa Monica Pier had a love child...

Located adjacent to LA County's southernmost stretch of beach, the Redondo Beach Pier offers a clean, airy, sunny stroll that's a nice change of pace from the wild promenades further north (read: don't expect a freak show.) There are harbor and ocean views and a wide variety of shopping and fine dining options that don't involve eating anything fried on a stick (though purists can rest assured that there are corn dogs available for purchase on the pier.) Those who are short on cash and want to catch their own dinner and bring along their fishing pole and fish off the pier for free. Visitors can also pick up pearls, hats, thimbles, kites, toe rings and slew of other things no one really needs to immortalize their trip to the pier. Hit someone in the face with that aforementioned fishing pole and need some legal advice? Head to the law office of Courtney, Allen & Norris, which is conveniently located by the pier.
