The only thing more American than baseball is the Fourth of July! The one day a year when every American, whether he be Brad Pitt or Joe the Plumber, can celebrate his patriotism by blowing stuff up. Ahhhh, I got a little teary eyed just by writing that. To celebrate Independence Day, the troubled owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers will hope to forget about all the bad press he's been getting his beloved franchise in to lately, by throwing a spectacular fireworks show at Dodgers Stadium. Plenty of tickets are still available and range from 12 bucks all the way up to $650 for seats behind home plate. Who knows, if McCourt sells enough of those high-priced tickets, he might just resolve his team's bankruptcy problems. Eh, don't hold your breath.
