Set up to look sort of like a flea market, this store's got boho-chic clothing, gifts and home items from all over the world for dorm rats and post-collegiate alterna-chic types.

Unconventional college kids that eschew the Gap make non-khaki fashion statements at this all-purpose shop. A slew of funky tees with sassy slogans, punk-lite jeans, miniskirts and colorful sneakers set the tone. For those who don't like shopping in secondhand stores, Urban Outfitters carries vintage looks in a sanitary environment. The store also stocks buttons, lip gloss, belts, earrings, necklaces, hats, stationery, handbags, pop-culture books and dorm-style furnishings to complete the alternative-kid look.
