  • Parking: Park in the Second St. and Wilshire Blvd. garage. The first two hours are free between 8am and 6pm with $0.75 for each additional 30 minutes. After 6pm it's a flat fee of $3.

Photography books highlight this archival library focusing on the visual arts.

Owner and former artist Lee Kaplan scavenges throughout the world to collect these art publications. Half of the in-store books are out of print and all of them are extremely rare. While their focus is photography, all 20th and 21st Century art forms are represented. Books are kept in plastic sleeves on decrepit, wooden shelves. The store isn't much to look at, but products are always top quality. Every staffer is an art expert eager to help you locate the exact publication you desire.
