CrushIt's innocent, really! OK, not really ![]() This store takes shopping to a full-blown infatuation.Store owner Phyllis Reffo knows crushes come and go just like a woman's fashion prerogative. Today, she may love the Isabella Fiora handbag, but tomorrow her affections could lean toward the Megan Park beaded bolero. From day to night, women's fashion needs change wildly from flirty girl-next-door to man-eating club-prowler. Crush caters to all these whims by mixing LA-based designers (Petro Zillia, Louis Verdad and eco-designer Lynda Loudermilk) with European talents (Juliet Dunne makes Indian-inspired tunics and skirts, and Filippa K makes slinky viscose tops, skirts and jackets). Reffo says her boutique was one of the first LA stores to carry crush-worthy Lucien Pellat-Finet cashmere sweaters, emblazoned with skulls or a pot leaf, seen on the likes of Kate Hudson and Courteney Cox Arquette. Tingle-worthy accessories include Janna Fiefer handbags, jewelry from Citrine by the Stones and Sogoli, and lingerie from Cosabella.
