The $150 jeans that sell in Barneys New York and Neiman Marcus, among other high-end department stores, has its own LA flagship.

Although founder Adriano Goldschmied has left the company, his name lives on at the AG store on Robertson Boulevard. Known for colorful, boho hippie looks, the line also made a name for itself with more basic pumice-"aged" blue jeans, which are worn by stars like Michelle Branch. Located near Kitson and Lisa Kline, the denim Mecca resembles a sophisticated bachelor pad. One wall consists of leather patches branded with AG logos and adorned with brass studs; near the entrance, a welcome kiosk made of crumpled AG jeans sits in front of a working espresso bar made of dark wood and copper; music videos and movies boom from plasma TVs; the checkout counter resembles a Technicolor argyle sweater made of colored pumice stones used to make different jean washes. Everything in the store was made at the local South Gate factory, including the giant AG jean logo and the jean bench near the fitting rooms. And did we mention all the jeans? —Mai Dinh
