This hotel spa's private villas make for a vacation within a vacation.

Each visit begins on the patio with a washing of the feet; the menu of services performed includes Swedish massages, aromatherapy massages, hydrating facials, purifying wraps and finishing touches with a range of manicures, pedicures, waxing, and makeup application. The Spa carries a mineral-based makeup line called Jane Iredale, which the company says can be worn right after plastic surgery because of its natural mineral based components (and that certainly comes in handy in this neighborhood).

Any treatment comes with an additional 15 relaxing minutes in one of the spa's three spacious treatment villas, either pre- or post-treatment. There's no bar, but each is equipped with a Kohler Infinity soak tub with chromatherapy (there are rotating lights inside the tub with colors that are said to affect your mood) and a lounge area complete with flatscreen TV, shower, closet and vanity. One villa has two massage beds for couples who want simultaneous treatments; another has a Vichy shower, used during body wraps, with seven showerheads that rain down on its coccooned guest. Guests are encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes before a service to use the hotel's fitness room, sauna, steam room, outdoor Jacuzzi and heated swimming pool. For celebrity and VIP guests, the spa staff can arrange individual yoga classes in the grass, mani- and pedicure treatments, bento box meals and just about any demand within reason. Recent guests include Usher and Amber Tamblyn—not together, although we like picturing them sharing an experience in the couple's villa.—Mai Dinh
