Cath KidstonIt's blooming English roses
    The British chain's first LA store resides in the Brentwood Country Mart.Cath Kidston covers a lot of ground in her eponymous store, from camping gear to children's toys to everyday china to vintage jewelry; it's as if Mary Poppins herself stocked the shelves with English rose-print oven mitts, polka-dot plates and patterned quilts. (Many of the patterns seen on the totes, linens and bolts of fabric are vintage or inspired by vintage prints.) Kidston grounds her line in traditional looks with quirky accents, like an endearing cowboy print seen on onesies, totes, mugs and sheets; her women's line focuses on wearable everyday pieces and includes canvas shoes that look like the Keds Mischa Barton has been shilling. About the only thing missing here is a spoonful of sugar. —Mai Dinh
