Hop into bed with this swinging furniture store.

When Bedfellows first opened in 1980, clients came for the platform beds and foam mattresses. How times have changed! Now, shoppers are snapping up retro-inspired furniture from Sweden and vintage furniture from the mid-century. The showroom looks like a Dwell magazine spread, with Art Deco-esque mirrors, Nelson Ball clocks, finely crafted wood tables, bulbous celadon vases and eye-catching lamps hanging from the ceiling. If mod ain't your bag, the store also carries Shag-inspired furnishings (as in the artist, not the rug): basket-weave living-room pieces, Tiki masks and a bar made out of lacquered bamboo. Whether shoppers are going for a luau in the living room or a 1960s James Bond bachelor pad, they'll find the goods here.—Elisa Jacobs
