The location was originally drilled for oil, but developers struck spring water instead, which was promptly sold for drinking in the 1930s. This is the only natural thermal spa in the city, and its services are straight-up. There's no Zen music, cucumber-flavored drinking water, high-end skin care or gimmicky treatments.
