Enough with the T-shirts and jeans already. Vionnet's walk-in boudoir of all things pretty, precious and playful makes one feel like a lady again.

Robertson Boulevard has a reputation for stocking celebrity-manufactured ensembles ripped from the pages of the weekly tabloids, but the frilly frocks at Vionnet will outlast last season's trends. Founder and buyer Delia Seaman scours the world for rare designer gems: She is so dedicated to her fresh crop that she'll drop a line from the store if it blows up to "It" brand status. Women with the sophistication and self-confidence to appreciate the store's glamorous La Perla lingerie will feel right at home in Vionnet's dollhouse dressing room, lit with a crystal-drop chandelier. Very British coats by Betty Jackson and fashion-forward knits by Japanese line Kamishima Chinami hang on the racks next to Cacharel, Tse, Aquascutum and the owner's line, Delia. Seaman's Melrose Place boutique, Delia, boasts an exquisitely edited selection of new and established lines, but with a more serious designer quotient. —Rhea Cortado
