The charm and customer service of this independently owned art-supply store make it a pleasant place to fill painting, drawing and sculpting needs.

Painter at heart and graphic designer by trade, store owner Nick Gallo opened Blue Rooster Art Supplies to give Eastside artist the kind of goods they previously had to trek to the Westside for. Acrylics, water colors, pastels, canvas and charcoal are all here, including the harder-to-find paints like Williamsburg oils. The store also hosts monthly openings showing the very same local artists that just weeks ago were in the aisles searching for the perfect shade of periwinkle.
