Room service is so 20th century. Guests of the W Hotel can now enjoy almost-edible bliss body scrubs and lotions at the new bliss spa.

Located on the second floor, bliss looks like the pearly white gates with its white glow and sky-and-clouds mural. Inside, products from the signature line are shelved next to treats such as Swiss-made Massai tennis shoes, Commando Invisible Underwear and Cleavage Cupcakes that come in pink boxes. The unisex spa has separate locker rooms, saunas, showers and lounges for men and women. (The men's lounge has a huge flat-screen TV and the women's lounge has fashion magazines and art books; both have a buffet of snacks.) The body treatment area has a Vichy shower, but the other gimmick-free frooms provide simple, private spaces for the waxing, massages and facials. Treatments for men include the "manly-cure" manicure and the "homme improvement" facial. bliss products are used in all services; the carrot and sesame body buff employs carrot mulch, warm milk and honey, and a scrub of sesame seed and sea salt. A quirky design touch: a conveyor belt behind the three manicure/pedicure stations delivers a fresh supply of clean tools and ready-to-use products for the technicians.
