The playful jewelry and accessories at this Melrose Heights boutique are as pink as owner Tarina Tarantino's hair.

From the pink resin floors to the Swarovski crystal sign, everything in Tarina Tarantino's boutique sparkles with girlish glam. Known for her cute jewelry and hair accessory collaborations with Hello Kitty and Barbie, the LA-based Tarantino started her business with husband Alfonso Campos in the mid-90s and has since grown to include boutiques in Japan and soon New York. Her LA store features jars filled with beaded bracelets, pink suede chairs facing back-lit, oval mirrors and her funky collection of crystal and Lucite earrings, necklaces and charms, all neatly organized in light-colored cases. Though her pieces evoke childhood fantasy and play, they are sold at adult prices—all are crafted and assembled in her LA factory—so start saving that lunch money. —Enid Portuguez
