Sunbathing beauties flock to this swimsuit designer's shop for hand-knit bikinis and sunwear that may never touch the water but will always make a splash.

Since making her debut in the mid-nineties, Ashley Paige has been Hollywood's go-to gal for swimwear: Kate Hudson, Carmen Electra and Gwen Stefani are among her many fans. Her handmade knit swimsuits have been such a hit that Paige opened up an eponymous shop in the middle of (where else?) Hollywood, where shoppers come from near and far to buy her popular beach undie bikini. Her line has expanded to include bags and children's items, and shes even published a book on how to knit your own bikinis called Sexy Little Knits: Chic Designs to Knit and Crochet. The cozy Cahuenga Corridor boutique is also her design studio, home and makeshift animal shelter. The vegetarian Paige is so dedicated to finding good homes for the strays she rescues that she hosts pet adoptions every Sunday at the store (she recently adopted a kitten to Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal). When not finding perfect-fit owners for her four-legged friends, Paige helps customers find the perfect-fit bikini.
