A hippie-ish store for books, art and music--owned by Tool bassist Justin Chancellor.

More a new-wave hippie than the brooding bassist you'd expect, Chancellor opened up this book and record shop in the least likely spot--Topanga Canyon! And he even works there along with his wife Shelee. Peace and love is the theme at this colorful store selling everything from hip-hop CDs to rare LPs purchased at vinyl conventions. The book section encompasses classics, band biographies and poetry. Every so often, Chancellor posts a list of his favorite bands of the moment on the store website, often times citing new musicians he'd like to see succeed. Oh, and about the name: Lobal Orning is this musician's freestyle interpretation of words that mean "to decorate the mind." (Hey, it's Topanga.)
