They move on all fours. They look adorable in sweaters. They drool on your face. This store goes ga-ga over puppies and babies, providing all the oh-so-adorable accessories these cuddly creatures somehow manage to tear off in ten minutes.

Former Jonathan Adler assistant Hannah Brand and her Yorkie, Apples, agreed to a blind double date with then Glamour magazine "Ask Jake" columnist Robert Moritz and his French bulldog, Ruby. The two-legged couple didnt like each other nearly as much as the four-legged duo, but the humans agreed on a second date for the sake of the dogs. And thank heavens: Brand and Moritz did fall in love, and their Puppies & Babies was born. The store takes cute to astronomical levels with rhinestone-studded collars, Alpaca cashmere sock monkeys, doggie beds and matching puppy and baby blankets. Brand designs the stores signature line, and Moritz is often found behind the counter talking about the couples newest dog, a chihuahua mix named Bananas. (Apples passed on after a good life.) The ratio of puppy-to-baby merch is currently heavy on puppy, but Moritz has said that will change along with their life—meaning that when Brand finds herself expecting, a larger selection of baby merch should be expected.
