In a city slavishly devoted to the sunglass, l.a.Eyeworks has made its mark. But even more, it has made smart, stylish people want to wear old fashion eyeglasses. Robin Williams, Charlize Theron, Susan Sarandon, Mick Jagger...all have seen more clearly through an l.a.Eyeworks lens. Unlike the company's Melrose Ave. store, this one is devoted exclusively to the designs of founders Gai Gherardi and Barbara McReynolds. In addition to hundreds of shades and frames, they carry fun new products like Peeper Keepers vitamin supplements for eyes, and the timely peace-sign monocle. They even hold eye yoga classes.
