In keeping with its lavish dcor and mature clientele, this one's quite pricey, even for Bev Hills, and somewhat old school.

Many of the faces in the lobby of the Beverly Hills Hotel and the legendary Polo Lounge look nipped and tucked; the spa on the premises promises to rejuvenate them with facials and makeup applications. It was probably a no-brainer for the pink palace to anoint the expensive skin-care company La Prairie to install a much needed spa; the brand appeals to an older crowd. Some busy clients opt for half-hour neck and shoulder massages or the 15-minute eye treatment during lunch breaks. But time is on the side of hotel guests on vacation. Though the spa menu includes a handful of trendier treatments such as hot-stone massages and couples treatments, the bulk of its offerings are traditional facials, massages and scrubs. A notable exception to that is the what-will-they-think-of-next Caviar Firming Facial ($270), which, yes, includes concentrated fish-egg extracts.
