Getting lost in this fab store—crammed with clothing, jewelry, Indian and Asian knick-knacks and super-cute baby stuff—might not be such a bad thing.

This store is an odd mix of pricey ethnic clothing, art, accessories and cheap lip balm, but somehow it all works in the small, colorful space. There is women's clothing from such brands as Paul Frank, Free People and Pink Spike, plus jewelry and bags from local designers. Beauty and grooming products have terrific packaging, and there's a whole section of items for babies. Some of the town's most original greeting cards cover everything from brides to breakups. But one of the best reasons to visit the Uncle? It does the most spectacular gift wrapping we've ever seen (think Chinese takeout boxes, ornate paper and raffia string) that is not only free but makes a $30 necklace look like it cost $300.
