Known as a mainstream haven for see-and-be-scenesters in the former Schwab's Drugstore spot, the Virgin Megastore is a behemoth of one-stop shopping for CDs, DVDs, books, magazines, novelty gifts and assorted odds and ends (Ben Sherman shirts?!). The crowd is self-consciously hip: this is the Sunset Strip, after all. Buff industryites from Crunch gym, also in the mall, make up a hefty portion of the population, though they never look sweaty.
