To cap off its comeback year of 2006, the Sofitel Hotel introduced LeSpa, a sleek and chic den where guests can relax, rejuvenate and even revive their exercise routines.

After unveiling a hip restaurant (Simon LA) and lounge (Stone Rose Lounge), it's only inevitable that the Sofitel Hotel house a hip spa. LeSpa remains consistent with the hotel's sleek new look—it was designed by the same firm. The six rooms (and two spa suites for those who want exclusive services) are accentuated with reed-thin iron sculptures and dim lighting. Guests are first shuttled to the locker room where a steam room, Swiss rain showers and digital lockers containing a plush robe and toiletries await them. Then they are led to the serenity lounge, an open, candlelit room where they enjoy a ritual heated-rock foot soak and hot tea before treatment. Along with facial, massage and body treatments, LeSpa also provides manicures and pedicures in a separate room connected to an outdoor patio. Unlike other hotel spas, use of the spacious, modern gym is also extended to spa guests not staying at the hotel.
