A pint-sized, eco-friendly storefront in Venice, Arbor showcases designer snowboards, skateboards, beach and snow apparel—all made from environmentally conscious materials, of course.

Arbor's showroom is staffed by super-friendly dudes and dudettes who care as much about protecting the planet as much as they care about the thrill of fresh powder. The store is run entirely on wind power; the wood-beam floor and shelving are constructed out of old snowboard remnants. The company's line of stylish snowboards and skateboards, known for their distinctive wood grain and bamboo topsheets, run between $300 to $600 and are crafted from a variety of different wood types, including a gorgeous birch and the Hawaiian-native koa—the same stuff from which the first surfboards were made. (A natural wooden topsheet also means that each board is as unique as you, bro!) Arbor's sporty clothing line features T-shirts, hats and hoodies in muted earth tones. Using organic dyes and inks whenever possible, much of the surprisingly soft apparel is made from 100% organic cotton and specially treated bamboo. —Amir Kenan
