Formerly open only to the trade, furniture supplier Nadeau did the unthinkable and kept its wholesale prices available to all when it opened its doors to the public.

Specializing in both new and antique handmade imports from Indonesia, India and China, Nadeau has more than six thousand items to choose from that are acquired directly from its overseas suppliers (and are frequently changed out, keeping overhead—and prices—low).  With a large warehouse location in Culver City and a showroom on Montana Avenue, eclectic is the best way to describe the merchandise. Distressed cottage-style benches and vanities, armoires, dining sets and dressers appeal to many tastes—from traditionalists to lovers of the world-traveler-without-actually-having-traveled-the-world look. Easily one of the Westside's best kept secrets, young married couples and celebrities (we heard Johnny Knoxville recently stopped by and Ted Danson was seen window shopping) alike are being charmed by pieces like antique Indian teak and railway iron cabinets, intricately carved, hand-painted outdoor bench swings and Venetian mirrors.
